Graduating With Honors

Students who hope to graduate with Honors must meet the following requirements:

• Earn an A or A- in ECON-2101 and ECON-2102 [formerly ECON-101 and ECON-102]
• Maintain a 3.67 grade average in Economics courses taken at Georgetown
• Take three (3) 4000-level [formerly 400-level] electives.

Courses taken pass/fail will not, under any circumstances, count towards eligibility for Honors in the major.

Before each Commencement In the Spring semester, the Department will send a survey to our majors. Completion of this form before graduation is required in order to apply for honors in the major.
