Posted on 9/5/2025: We are pleased to invite you to the first event of the semester hosted by Georgetown’s Economics Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE). This event will highlight academic and professional pathways in economics, featuring distinguished alumni and faculty.

Event Details

Title: Economics Opportunities at Georgetown and Beyond

Time: 6:15–8:00 PM

Location: ICC 550 (Economics Department Conference Room) / Zoom  for those who can’t make it

Program:

• 6:15–6:30 PM – Introduction to ODE, Norman Wang & Professor Schwartz, and Information on Leadership Team Applications
• 6:30–7:30 PM – Panel Discussion and Q&A
  • Axel Abrica (Analyst, Econic Partners)
  • Martin Hitti (PhD Student, MIT Sloan School of Management)
• 7:30–8:00 PM – Informal Recruiting Session with Econic Partners

All Georgetown students with an interest in economics are warmly encouraged to attend. Juniors and seniors are additionally invited to participate in a post-event coffee chat with representatives from Econic Partners.
