Internship Opportunities at the Office of Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19)

Internship dates span from Early May to August 2026 and are offered in our Washington D.C., Binghamton, Leeds, and Delhi offices. 

This internship offers a hands-on introduction to the legislative process and the day-to-day work of a congressional office. From policy research and constituent services to attending briefings and hearings, every day presents new opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute. It’s a fast-paced, high-impact experience that builds lifelong skills, sharpens your understanding of government, and opens doors to a future in public service or beyond.

A Resume and Cover Letter are required for this application and opportunities are open to all majors.

• Applications for the Washington D.C. Office will close on March 13th.
• Applications for the Leeds, Binghamton, and Delhi Offices will be reviewed on March 13th and then accepted on a rolling basis.
