Spring 2026 Internship Application | Office of Rep. Josh Riley (NY-19)
Posted in Undergrad Opportunities
Posted on 10/30/2025: I am the internship coordinator in the Washington D.C. office of Rep. Josh Riley (NY-19). The application for the Spring 2026 Internship Session is open. I am reaching out to ask if you can forward the applications to the students you work with or post on any internship board that your department may run. We have internship opportunities in our Washington D.C. office and at our district offices in Binghamton and Leeds, New York. These internships are open to all majors and backgrounds and are great for any student interested in public service. Spots are limited, so please encourage students to apply as soon as they are able.
Our internship offers a hands-on introduction to the legislative process and the day-to-day work of a congressional office. From policy research and constituent services to attending briefings and hearings, every day presents new opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute. It’s a fast-paced, high-impact experience that builds lifelong skills, sharpens your understanding of government, and opens doors to a future in public service or beyond.
The application is a google form that can be found at this link: https://riley.house.gov/services/internships .
- Applications for the Washington D.C. Office will close on November 30th.
- Applications for the Leeds and Binghamton Office will be reviewed on November 30th and then accepted on a rolling basis.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the internship or the application process.
Thanks,
Matthew
