Georgetown Collegiate Brain Study: Recruiting 4th-Year Undergraduates
Posted in Undergrad Opportunities
Posted on 9/12/2025: Dr. Ian Lyons (associate professor in the GU Psychology Department and PI in the Math Brain Lab ) is running an MRI study aimed at understanding how different college education experiences relate to cognitive skills and brain functioning. Economics is one of the key education backgrounds of interest, although all undergraduate seniors (4th-year students) are invited to participate in the first session.
We are recruiting from the new senior class, so we would be grateful if you might distribute the attached flyer (or simply forward this email and the attached flyer) to 4th-year undergraduate Economics Majors.
If eligible for participation, a student will receive up to $200 and a picture of their brain (see attached flyer for full details).
Thank you for your time in considering this request. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any follow-up questions.
Best,
Lucas Miller
