Announcing the Hoover Institution Summer Policy Boot Camp

Posted in Undergrad Opportunities

Posted on 2/27/24: We are contacting you because students in your department may have an interest in public policy and the Hoover Institution Summer Policy Boot Camp (HISPBC) program. Now in its eighth year, the boot camp program covers the essential issues of today’s national and international public policy landscape, providing instruction to college students, recent graduates, and young professionals.

HISPBC is known for its robust program on topics that are relevant to today’s policy challenges. Students focus on developing and applying critical reasoning skills to public policy formation. They also have a unique opportunity to interact with the faculty of Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, which comprises scholars in economics, government, political science, and related fields.

This four-day public policy boot camp will take place August 11-16, 2024, on Stanford University’s campus. The program is free of charge to accepted participants (including lodging and meals). Attendees will be responsible for travel costs and incidentals.
