XXIII Carroll Round Conference — Apr 19-20, 2024

Posted on 4/18/2024:I wanted to draw your attention to the upcoming 23rd Carroll Round Conference (https://sfs.georgetown.edu/carroll-round/) which will take place on campus Friday, April 19th and Saturday, April 20th. The College and SFS economics and political economy major students have worked hard to put together this year’s conference that takes the same format as professional academic conferences, and features Wendy Edelberg and Olivier Blanchard as keynote speakers.

The conference schedule can be found here. The conference will feature approximately 25 undergraduates from across the world who will discuss and present their original economics research. On each day there will be two paper presentation sessions, one in the morning (9:00-12:00 am) and one in the afternoon (2:00-4:00 pm on Friday, 1:30-3:30pm on Saturday), each with either 3 or 4 presenters. All students are invited to the paper sessions.
