Develop Practical Skills Through Our Master’s in Applied Economics Curriculum

The Applied Economics master’s program is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills needed to navigate this fascinating field. You will start with the four core courses—microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and data analysis. Through your work in these key areas, you will build a strong foundation, developing a solid grasp of key economic models and tools for econometric investigation and analysis. You’ll gain skills to engage in empirical analyses, undertake original research projects and contribute to policy formulation. You will then choose six elective courses from numerous offerings, allowing you to explore a broad range of contemporary economic problems, practical applications and advanced tools. To help ensure readiness for the quantitative demands of the Applied Economics program, a mandatory two-week session just before the fall semester reviews calculus, linear algebra and probability and statistics. Designed to accommodate your busy schedule, our program enables you to balance full-time work and studies seamlessly. In just four to six semesters, you can achieve your academic aspirations and open up opportunities for professional growth. With many of our core courses and electives conveniently scheduled in the evenings after 6:00 p.m., our program empowers you to create an academic experience that aligns with your personal and professional goals.
