Washington DC Elected Office Internship Program

Posted on 5/7/2025: The Washington DC Capitol Internship Program is focused on leadership and professional development, designed for students interested in skills and experiences to help advance their leadership skills in government, industry, and community affairs. This quarter-long program hosted by APAPA , takes place during the Fall, matching accepted interns directly with elected officials.

PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS 

Interns will be expected to:

• Work 20-40 hours per week with Host Elected Official Office in Person in DC
• Participate in professional development workshops & training seminars
