Aaron Zhong (ECON 25) presents his poster at the Cross-Disciplinary Undergraduate Research Exhibition, 1/31/2025

Graduating Economics major Aaron (Qixuan) Zhong’s research was selected for inclusion in Georgetown University Library’s Cross-Disciplinary Undergraduate Research Exhibition.  The presentation was based on joint work by Professor John Rust, his Ph.D. students, and Aaron, on a research paper titled, “Who is more Bayesian: Humans or Chat GPT?”  The authors found that their human subjects are very good predictors, achieving over 90% of the prediction accuracy of a “perfect Beyesian,” but the latest versions of ChatGPT are even better with a 99% prediction accuracy. Aaron will continue his studies at a Ph.D. program in Economics in the Fall.
